This “FREE” giveaway will be held on Saturday, August 24,2024 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 5200 Pleasant Grove Road, Lansing, MI 48911 (near the intersection of Jolly and Pleasant Grove). This “FREE” giveaway is open to all and will operate on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. The mission of the Community Day of Care and Prayer is to provide “FREE” clothing, coats, shoes, prayer, and refreshments in a clean, inviting, non-threatening environment for those in need. Our primary goal is not to gain a profit but to supply a need to people who otherwise would not be able to buy for themselves or their families.

Our 4 month Basic Skills Boot Camp is a comprehensive roller derby training course. It is focused on developing skaters to their full potential; regardless of prior skill or experience. Our organization prides itself on providing participants the best possible opportunity to flourish in a safe and positive environment. - No prior experience is necessary to participate!
