The greatest threat is forecast for the late afternoon and early evening hours.

Motorists in Clinton County will also encounter a significant traffic change beginning Monday. The ramp connecting eastbound I-69 to southbound U.S. 127 has closed for a major reconstruction project that will continue through October 23. Drivers will be detoured via northbound U.S. 127 and westbound I-69 while work is underway.

Authorities in Eaton County are investigating a fatal rollover crash that claimed the life of a 40-year-old man Friday night. Sheriff's officials said the driver lost control of his pickup truck near Lansing Road and Old Lansing Road at approximately 9:30 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

President Donald Trump is making a stop in Michigan Monday, visiting General Motors' Milford Proving Ground in Oakland County. According to the White House, the president's remarks will focus on the economy and his administration's efforts to boost domestic manufacturing through tariff policies. The visit comes as polling continues to show mixed public opinion on the president's handling of the economy ahead of the midterm elections.
