Here's how it works...
-Every weekday at 9:30am during Mike's 9 at 9 MikeFM announces how many songs 101.7 played the day before. Then MikeFM announces how many songs one of its competitors played. Then you find out the difference. That's the number you'll need to know when asked to call.
-MikeFM will also tell you what hour or hours you will have the opportunity to call in and win cash.
-Listen for your cue to call throughout the day. Caller 7 at 393-5224 with the correct number will win either $100.
Song counts are determined by independent radio research website Mediabase.
Further contest rules:
1) All winners must be at least 18 years of age with valid identification. One winner per household.
2) Staff and family members of MacDonald Broadcasting Staff and family members of sponsoring clients are not eligible.
3) All contest winners have a 30-day waiting period before they are eligible to win another prize on 101.7 Mike FM.
4) All cash prizes will be available on the Friday of the following week following the winning date, and must be picked up at the studios of 101.7 Mike FM WHZZ; 600 W. Cavanaugh; Lansing MI 48910 by the contest winner. Winners must be present a picture ID and Social Security card.
5) All winners must present valid picture ID to claim their prize.
6) Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am through 5:00pm
7) Winners will have 45 days to claim their prize. After that time, the prize will be forfeited.
8) Winner is subject to any and all taxes as per the Internal Revenue Service.
9) Any winner found to be misrepresenting themselves or passing along false information would be subject to a one-year ban on contesting winning and forfeiture.
All on air contest winners agree to being recorded and their voice used on air for the purpose of promotion, or post promotion of contest, or promotion.
